Designed as both a handheld and hands-free scanner, the DS9808 features a trigger sensor on the base to switch from autosense to triggered scanning mode, eliminating the need to configure the scanner or place in an awkward autosense stand.

Optional models feature both a 2D imager as well as a long range laser scanner, promoting accuracy during handheld mode and fast scanning in hands-free mode. While in laser mode, the DS9808 boasts a scan range of up to 18" for 13 mil UPC barcodes, fantastic for scanning large, bulky, or hard to orient products.
